Inspiration for a Classic English Wedding.
My blog gets so neglected, and I am embarrassed to say, that this shoot took place in 2019. Sadly, the venue is no longer running (thanks very much Covid!) but the style is timeless and beautiful and still worth a share. These images have been shared over on So Your'e Getting Married, which you can view here.
I took part in a photography workshop, styled and created by my favourite suppliers in the UK wedding industry. (you can find the full list at the bottom of this page). The workshop took place at the beautiful Lartington Hall in Durham, England. This venue is gorgeous, with so much natural lighting, that even though it rained all day, we had tons of lovely photo spots inside its beautiful rooms. It's so sad that another heritage building has had to close its doors due to the never ending covid pandemic.
Holly, the workshop host, was great, and helped us to learn lots of new tips, and capture some lovely images for our own portfolios, that we can use to send to other big blogs like Wedding Sparrow, or Style Me Pretty. Mine have been used on Wedding Sparrow.
Im sure you’ll agree that the styling of this shoot is so timeless, and will never go out of fashion. That’s what I love about the fine art style, you will never look back and think “oh my goodness, what was I thinking?!”.
